Kassandra N Thompson-Christopherson

My daughter, Kassandra, had a passion for life and for those around her.  She was noted for her great big, beautiful smile (and big blue eyes)...it was one that will not be forgotten!  Anyone that knew her would say as soon as she walked in the room and smiled they felt better.  She smiled at everyone.  She cared about people and how they felt, doing what she could to make them feel better...even if it meant just giving them her smile.  Thanks for stopping by and before you leave, be sure to take her smile with you and share it with others - it can change their life!
This is my very silly girl.  She always had a smile on her face!  In the picture to the right she was getting ready to put highlights or something in her hair.  She loved dying her hair a new color each week - always tasteful, of course!  Kassie enjoyed all the "girly" things from her hair, eyebrows, nails, her pouty lips, long eyelashes, you name it! "A SMILE costs nothing, but gives much. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and none is so poor but that he can not be made rich by it. A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business, and is the countersign of friendship. It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and is nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give."

Thanks, Jonathan for the following verse...

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 (New International Version)

The Coming of the Lord

13 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

My sweet, sweet baby girl...I know you are in Heaven...I know you are watching over us all...please grab hold your sister and heal her heart...talk to her, something because I am running out of things to do.  If you are reading this and you believe in Our Heavenly Father, please pray for my daughter, Kamyshia.  I feel like I cannot do anymore, I am tired.  Kassie, I miss you more than any words could ever say ~ you and God are the only ones that truly know my pain.  I love you.
